Trybe is a cloud-based system which technically can be operated from any device that has access to the internet. Here is a guide on the minimum system requirements we’d recommend to ensure Trybe is running at it’s best.
Laptops & Desktop Computers
We’d always recommend a laptop as your primary device, particularly for reception teams.
Screen Resolution - This should be a minimum of 1280x800
Operating systems -
For Apple devices, it should be running macOS Catalina 10.15 or above.
For Windows, it should be running at least Windows 8 and have at least 4GB RAM
Tablets
Tablets can be a very useful tool for Therapists to view their appointments for the day.
We support any Apple iPad running iOS 15 or above. Below is a list of Apple devices that support iOS 15.
Should you wish to use alternative devices such as Android tablets, please try before you buy.
Browsers
We officially support all evergreen browsers. Evergreen browsers are browsers that will automatically update themselves to the latest version. This is the case for all modern browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
We do not support IE 11.
WiFi Speed & Connecting to the Internet
A stable internet connection with a recommended minimum download speed of 5mbps
Please ensure your wifi speed is as fast as possible and above our recommended minimum. If you have other devices such as Tills, PDQs and customers using the wifi, these could affect the download speed, therefore you may want to consider plugging the device directly into the Internet router using an Ethernet cable.
